How does a subscription work?
Our weekly meal plans are recurring subscriptions. This means your plan automatically renews each week so you don’t miss meals.
Who are these meal plans designed for?

Our meal plans are designed for people who want chef-quality meals without the time and effort of cooking.

Our clients include busy professionals, athletes, parents, entrepreneurs, and anyone looking to eat better while simplifying their routine.

Whether your goal is weight management, improved nutrition, or simply saving time, our meals are designed to support a healthier lifestyle.

When can I change, pause, or cancel my subscription?

All subscription changes must be made before your weekly renewal is processed.

If your renewal has already processed, that week’s order is confirmed and cannot be canceled or refunded. Any changes will apply to the next billing cycle.

Because we operate on a small-batch production model, renewals secure ingredient purchasing and kitchen scheduling for that week.

This deadline exists because we order ingredients and begin production immediately after.

How do I pause or cancel?

You can pause or cancel your subscription anytime from your account dashboard:

  1. Log in to My Account

  2. Go to My Subscriptions

  3. Toggle Pause or Cancel Auto-renew

If you need help, just text or call our support team.

Do I get a refund if I cancel?

Due to the nature of our service:

  • We do not refund charges for weeks already processed or in production.

  • Refunds or credits are only issued if there was an error on our side (missing meals, incorrect delivery, quality issues).

  • All quality issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

What if I disagree with a charge?

Before starting a dispute with your bank, please contact us first. We resolve concerns quickly and fairly.

When is my meal plan delivered?

Deliveries take place twice per week on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

Delivery windows run between 7:00 PM and 3:00 AM depending on the delivery zone and route.

Because our routes cover a large geographic area, some locations may receive deliveries later in the evening or early morning hours.

Our current delivery area covers Homestead to Boca Raton, including most of Miami-Dade and southern Broward County.

For northern routes such as Pompano Beach and Boca Raton, orders may arrive overnight and are packed with additional ice packs to maintain safe temperatures until retrieved.

When is my meal plan delivered?

What if I’m not home?

No problem. Our drivers will leave your meals according to the delivery instructions provided at checkout (front door, concierge, cooler bag, etc.).

Meals are delivered in insulated packaging with ice packs to help maintain safe temperatures until retrieved.

If our driver is unable to complete delivery because the client is unavailable, does not answer the door, or does not respond to driver communication, the order will be returned to our kitchen.

The order will then be rescheduled for delivery on the next available delivery day.

A $25 redelivery fee will be charged to the card on file to cover additional driver transportation.

Are the meals freshly cooked or frozen?

All meals at The Healthy Kitchen Miami are freshly prepared in our kitchen each week using high-quality ingredients.

Meals are never mass-produced or factory-made. Instead, they are cooked in small batches by our culinary team to ensure freshness and flavor.

Meals are delivered fresh and refrigerated, not frozen.

If you need to extend their shelf life, many meals can be safely frozen at home.

How do I heat up my meals?

Heat in the microwave for 1.5–2 minutes. Add 30-second increments if needed.

Are the meals actually filling?

Yes. Our meals are designed by chefs and nutrition professionals to be balanced, satisfying, and nutritionally complete.

Each dish includes a thoughtful combination of high-quality proteins, vegetables, and smart carbohydrates to provide sustained energy and keep you satisfied between meals.

Unlike many meal delivery services that focus only on calorie restriction, our goal is to create meals that are both nourishing and genuinely satisfying.

Most clients find that our meals help them maintain steady energy throughout the day without feeling deprived.

Can I freeze meals?

Yes — although we always encourage everyone to keep their meals fresh for maximum nutritional benefits.

Are coolers included?

Simply place the empty cooler bag outside during your next scheduled delivery, and our driver will collect it.

This allows us to continue using reusable packaging and maintain proper delivery temperatures.

If a cooler bag is not returned, a $15 replacement fee will be charged to the card on file.

How do I return them?

Leave them outside for pickup, bring them to the kitchen, or schedule a return.

Replacement fees may apply if coolers AND icepacks are not returned.

When should I place my order for next week?

Orders for the upcoming week can be placed any time between Wednesday and Tuesday at 11:59 PM.

At midnight Tuesday, the ordering window closes and our kitchen begins processing orders and sourcing ingredients.

Because production begins immediately after the cutoff, orders cannot be modified or canceled after the ordering window closes.

Why this deadline?

Our menu changes weekly and production slots fill fast.

What happens if I don’t pick up my meals?

Meals scheduled for pickup must be collected within 72 hours of the original pickup date.

After this time, we cannot guarantee food safety or quality and meals may need to be safely disposed of.

If you anticipate a delay, please contact our team in advance. Upon request, we are happy to freeze your meals to extend their shelf life when possible.

Can I select specific meals?

Your meal plan offers a balanced curated menu. For individual dish selection, order à la carte from our weekly menu.
